While Bob and I no longer own a cranberry farm, he does work each harvest season for another grower. I, however, just show up on a sunny day with my camera!
Bob always was fun doing his commentary at harvest time!! Nice that he still helps out….what a guy!! Aren’t you glad you don’t have the harvest anymore??
xo
We absolutely love anything with cranberries in them! We eat them every day in our morning oatmeal, in muffins, in cakes and cookies, etc. When we lived in Mass, I loved seeing the fields at harvest time……and your pics show it perfectly! Thanks for the memory!
Cranberries are part of my growing-up-at-the-beach memories. I enjoy Cran-Raspberry juice every morning and have lots and lots of recipes that include cranberries as one of the ingredients. Yum!
Living in North Carolina we never seen cranberries harvested. We have cotton, and tobacco, peanuts. So how do you know when a cranberry is ready? And is there a growing season, then harvest? Please let us know more.
