Your story sounds so real (I actually have family that did abuse a quilt that was made by their mother) So sad. Can’t wait to see you get it back together. Have fun. And hey, who could pass up a quilt like that!!!

I’d say it was a great rescue regardless if you “needed” another quilt or not. Somebody spent a lot of time making these.

Beautiful blocks. Do you think you will be able to get many of the stains out? I have never seen one done with so many different stitcheries on them. Very cool!!!!
