My sister and I are in Sweden–my favorite place in the whole world!  We were just here last summer, and didn’t plan to return so soon, but this is a special occasion – Ulrica is getting married!  I’ve known her since she was five years old–and now she’s in her mid 30′s.  We were so honored to be invited to the wedding.  It’s taking place on a small island south of Stockholm in the Stockholm Archipelago.  I promise to tell you all about it – and post photos- when we return.  But in the meantime, I wanted to share with you a photo of the quilt I’m giving Ulrica and Carl for their wedding.

If you’ve been quilting more than ten years, you may recognize the fabric.  It’s Folk Art Wedding by Robyn Pandolph.  I made this quilt many years ago and now I’ve found the perfect home for it.  I hope Carl and Ulrica love it as much as I love them.
